Please allow me to welcome you to the President’s Corner of our website. As the President of the Citizens Coalition for Change, Compton, CA, I will be posting issues of concern regarding political and social justice activities, as well as general items of community interest.
I am honored to have been selected as President by the Founders and Executive
Board; and voted in by the entire Board of Directors of this fine organization to
continue the tradition of holding the city’s leadership accountable, and demanding
transparency.
As a lifelong resident of Compton; and a community servant, I am dedicated to
bringing to life the organization’s philosophy:
“The Strength of A People —The Power of Community.”
On behalf of the entire body, I would like to invite the Compton Community at large
to partner with us in an effort to improve the look and feel of the city, as well as
understanding the complexity of day-to-day operations.
